
Taylor Larson
Taylor Larson is the primary strength and conditioning coach for the TCU women’s basketball program, while also assisting with the football team. Larson previously serving as assistant director of strength and conditioning at Central Michigan since 2011. While with the Chippewas, Larson worked most recently with men’s and women’s basketball, softball, wrestling and assisted with football. In 2017-18, Larson was an integral part of the Central Michigan’s women’s basketball NCAA Sweet 16 appearance, as well as its MAC regular-season and tournament titles. The Midland, Mich., native was part of three women’s basketball MAC championships (2013, 2017, and 2018) while at CMU. He was also part of MAC titles in men’s basketball (2015), five times in wrestling (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) twice in softball (2013 and 2017) and once in football (2009). Larson earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2007. He earned his master’s degree in physical education from Central Michigan University in 2011. He owns certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and is a MHSAA Master Certified Coach. Larson and his wife, Megan, have two daughters, Mikaela and Kiera.
