Missy Mitchell-McBeth has over 18 years of coaching experience both at the high school and collegiate levels. She is currently the Texas Assistant Sales and Business Development Director at Power Lift, a role she began in June of 2022.
She is the owner of SaFe Iron, LLC a consulting company that helps high school sport coaches optimize their strength and conditioning programs and co-owns the Coaches’ Conditioning Project, a platform that focuses on creating a better coaching industry through creating healthier coaches.
Prior to her current roles, Mitchell-McBeth was the head strength and conditioning Coach at Byron Nelson High school for 6 years, a senior assistant strength and conditioning coach at TCU for 6 years, and a high school sport coach at Copperas Cove High School for four years.
She also holds a position on the board of the National High School Strength Coaches Association overseeing the Southwest Region that includes: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. She holds an MSEd in Exercise Physiology along with the CSCS, SCCC, USAW, and FRCms certifications.
She and her husband Brian, a high school coach, reside in Justin, TX and have four dogs: Maui, Kona, Violet, and Indigo.
Zack Zillner enters his sixth season as women's basketball sports performance coach at the University of Texas.
Zillner develops, implements and supervises the training regimen for the Texas women’s basketball team in the areas of speed, strength, agility, conditioning and flexibility.
Zillner, most recently served as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Kansas. At KU, Zillner was the sports performance coach for the women’s basketball, softball, women’s golf and women’s tennis teams. He also assisted with men’s basketball.
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Zillner spent more than a year [2015-16] as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Illinois, where he worked with the women’s basketball, volleyball and men’s and women’s golf teams.
Zillner served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Southern Mississippi during the 2014-15 school year. He was the head strength and conditioning coach for men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball.
Before joining the staff at Southern Miss, Zillner spent three years [2011-14] as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Kansas. During his first stint in Lawrence, he worked with the soccer, softball, men’s and women’s golf, and track and field teams. He also assisted with men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball and baseball.
Zillner earned his bachelor’s degree in sport science, with an emphasis in exercise science, from the University of Kansas in 2011.
Taylor Larson is the primary strength and conditioning coach for the TCU women’s basketball program, while also assisting with the football team.
Larson previously serving as assistant director of strength and conditioning at Central Michigan since 2011. While with the Chippewas, Larson worked most recently with men’s and women’s basketball, softball, wrestling and assisted with football.
In 2017-18, Larson was an integral part of the Central Michigan’s women’s basketball NCAA Sweet 16 appearance, as well as its MAC regular-season and tournament titles.
The Midland, Mich., native was part of three women’s basketball MAC championships (2013, 2017, and 2018) while at CMU. He was also part of MAC titles in men’s basketball (2015), five times in wrestling (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) twice in softball (2013 and 2017) and once in football (2009).
Larson earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2007. He earned his master’s degree in physical education from Central Michigan University in 2011.
He owns certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and is a MHSAA Master Certified Coach.
Larson and his wife, Megan, have two daughters, Mikaela and Kiera.
Dr. Sheri Walters works directly with the 17 Olympic Sports programs to provide comprehensive healthcare, including the provision of physical therapy services across all sports.
Prior to joining A&M, Sheri served as an assistant professor at A.T. Still University in the Department of Kinesiology. She also serves as a consultant to USA Women’s Ice Hockey (PT/ATC), including during the 2018 Olympic Games. She served as the strength and conditioning coach for the US Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) program and as a consulting medical provider with US Paralympic Track and Field since 2011. She was invited by the USOPC to assist with the delivery of medical care in London 2012 and Rio 2016. Prior to her appointment at A.T. Still, Sheri served as the Director of Performance Physical Therapy at EXOS - Athletes’ Performance, where she provided rehab services to the NFL Combine Prep groups, NFL Trust, current NFL players, MLB/MiLB, NBA, WNBA, collegiate, and high school athletes. Prior to joining Athletes’ Performance, Sheri served as the Head Athletic Trainer and Rehabilitation Coordinator at Indiana State University. She has also worked at the Medical Center of Arlington which provided rehab services to the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Fort Worth Flyers, Dallas Baptist University, and local high schools.
Sheri successfully defended her PhD dissertation at Texas Woman’s University and received her DPT from the University of St Augustine, her Master of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in athletic training from the University of Florida while working with the Gator Football and Women’s Golf teams. Sheri served as the assistant athletic trainer for the WNBA’s Detroit Shock prior to attending Florida. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation with an emphasis in Athletic Training from East Central University.
Originally from Wapanucka, Oklahoma, Sheri currently resides in Bryan-College Station. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors.
